Acer India Private Limited, bearing CIN: U31909KA1999PTC025698, is a private limited company incorporated under the provisions of Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office located at Embassy Heights, 6th Floor, No. 13, Magrath Road, Next to HOSMAT Hospital, Bangalore (Karnataka) – 560025 (hereinafter referred to as “AIL”).

By accessing, using or creating an account on Acer Online Store, you acknowledge and warrant that this policy document was carefully read in its entirety by you and understood, and that this policy document is contractual and not mere recital; and as sufficient consideration for the same, AIL may not have given you access to Acer Online Store or to any application, tool or service connected therewith, should you have not accepted to comply with, or be governed with, in totality with this policy document.

DELIVERY POLICY OF AIL

For the purpose of delivering the consignment to you, AIL or its Order Fulfilment Partner, may use either its own resources or may contract with a third party courier and logistics support provider. All purchases are shipped either from our warehouses or from the end of the Order Fulfilment Partner from anywhere in India at our sole discretion.

DELIVERY TIMELINES:

Our endeavour is to make the products purchased by you reach to you within seven (7) business days for metro cities and within fifteen (15) business days for non-metro cities from receipt of order and payment  confirmation therefor depending on the location selected for delivery on a best effort basis.

Order deliveries will be made by our enlisted third party courier and logistics support provider or India Post services usually between reasonable working hours from Monday till Saturday. There may be additional delay in case of a national holiday or any other unforeseeable reason not controllable at the end of either AIL or the Order Fulfilment Partner.

ACCEPTANCE:

The package shall need to be signed upon delivery. We take no responsibility for packages signed by an alternate person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of the order. Our authorized logistics support provider may require you to provide a government issued identity card for verification purposes.

Since the transactions are authorized by the card holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order.

CLAIMS:

All claims, if any, for shortage/damage of the product received must be reported to Customer Care with your Order No. mentioned on the invoice as reference within one (1) day from the receipt/refusal of the package by you. In case the package is already opened, tampered or in any way damaged, then you are obligated to highlight the same to the concerned logistics support provider and refuse acceptance along with the appropriate reason being mentioned by you in the Proof of Delivery copy. We are not responsible for damage of products after delivery.

DELIVERY ATTEMPTS:

The logistics support provider will make two attempts to deliver the package. If the delivery address first mentioned while placing the order by you is locked or if the nominated recipient is not available, the shipment will be treated as undeliverable and the logistics support provider will initiate return of package to the consignor. If such returned packages are to be redelivered without order cancellation, you will be charged an additional 2% of the cost of package or INR 500/- whichever is higher towards the additional freight cost.

FORCE MAJEURE EVENT:

AIL or its Order Fulfilment Partner shall not be liable for any failure and/or delay on their part in performing any of the delivery obligations and/or for any loss, damage, costs, charges and expenses incurred and/or suffered by you by reason thereof if such failure and/or delay arose as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

AMENDMENTS AND REVISIONS:

AIL reserves the right to make changes at any time to its Delivery Policy at its discretion and such policy and process may be subject to amendment and updating without notice. All amended terms automatically take effect as and when they are posted and AIL may in its sole discretion announce any material changes to this Delivery Policy through e-mail to existing users where they have disclosed their e-mail addresses to AIL.

If any part of this policy document is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable as per Indian law, that particular part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining parts of the policy document.
