BUYBACK GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Overview The Buyback Guarantee (BBG) program provides assurance of the best buyback value at the time of purchase.
  2. Registration & Purchase
  • Registration of the device is mandatory once the Buyback benefit is purchased.
  • Customers must purchase the Buy Back Policy from Acer eStore by paying the applicable price.
  • After purchasing the BBG plan, customers must register their device by entering the serial number of the voucher, voucher code, and device details. Customer details and a copy of the invoice must be uploaded at the time of registration.
  • Buy Back Offer is not available for Recertified Products.
  1. Eligibility Criteria The BBG plan applies only if:
  • The product is physically and functionally in good working condition.
  • The original purchase invoice (Tax Invoice) and accessories are available at the time of the claim.
  • The customer provides a government-issued ID proof copy during the claim process.

If any of the above conditions (Point 4 & 5) are not met, the BBG program for that device will become null and void. In such cases, a re-evaluation based on market standards will be offered to the customer.

BUYBACK GUARANTEE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

  1. Adding the Offer at Checkout
  • Customers must select the Buyback Guarantee offer while checking out.
  1. Customer Registration Process
  • After purchasing the Buyback Guarantee from Acer eStore, the customer will receive a URL (https://bbg.xtracover.com/) along with a unique registration code via email from Xtracover.
  • Upon clicking the link, a webpage will open where the customer must click on the "Register Now" button.
  • The customer must enter device details and personal details. Mandatory fields are marked with a red star (*).
  • After filling in all details, the customer must click "Register Now."
  • An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
  • Registration must be completed within 15 days from the device purchase date.
  • Claim / Buyback Process
    • Customers must request buyback at https://bbg.xtracover.com/
    • Device serial number and registered mobile number are required for OTP verification
    • After logging in, the customer will see the current depreciated value of their device.
    • The customer must accept the terms and conditions and click "Submit" to avail the service.
    • Xtracover’s authorized QC Engineer will visit the customer’s location within 2-4 working days.
    • The engineer will physically and functionally test the device.
    • If the device passes the check, the engineer will request: a) Original purchase tax invoice copy b) Accessories bought with the device c) Customer’s government-approved photo ID
    • Upon successful verification, the customer will receive an Acer eStore voucher equivalent to the depreciation value of the device.
    • If the device fails the verification or required documents are missing, the BBG offer becomes null and void. A re-evaluation based on market value will be offered instead.
